Tara is the Interim Head Teacher at Woodlands Park Nursery School and Children's Centre. She Began working in Haringey as a special Needs Assistant. She then went onto University to complete her Bachelor of Education degree and on completion began teaching in Islington. She has worked at Woodlands for the past 15 yearsÂ

Sian McDermott
Sian McDermott
Sian became the Head Teacher at Rowland Hill Nursery School after being Deputy Head Teacher/SENCO at Moss Hall Nursery School. Before that Sian was the Deputy Head Teacher at Prior Weston Primary School and was the Deputy Principle at Oasis Academy Hadley (2-19 years). Sian has also been an Early Years Consultant for Enfield and Southwark councils. Sian led on 'Every Child A Talker'(ECAT) and Social and Emotional Aspects of Development (SEAD) during her time at Enfield Council. Sian's real passion is children's early communication skills and how learning environments promote early talk.

Sue Moss
Sue Moss
Sue Moss has been the Head Teacher at Pembury House Nursery School and Children's Centre in Haringey since September 2014. Sue has a passion for Early Years Education and in her varied career, started out with positions as a Nursery Nurse, Hospital Play Specialist, and Childcare Coordinator in a Drug Rehabilitation Centre for women resident with their children. She trained as a primary teacher in the 1990s, taught in reception and nursery classes, and held Leadership and SENCO roles. Her particular interests are in creative arts, environmental education and storytelling.

Bernadette Alexiou
Bernadette Alexiou
Bernadette Alexiou joined Rowland Hill Nursery School in April 2020 as an Assistant Headteacher. Before being at Rowland Hill she was the Assistant Headteacher at Duncombe Primary School in Islington responsible for Early Years. Bernadette led a two, three and four year old nursery, along with two reception classes. Bernadette worked in partnership with the Islington Early Years Team as a lead moderator and often delivered training across Islington. At Rowland Hill Bernadette is working on developing the curriculum and outdoor learning environments to support children's learning.

Denise Mangat
Denise Mangat has been teaching at Woodlands Park for 20 years. She is particularly interested in supporting young children's early literacy.

Toni Wheeler
Toni Wheeler
Toni has worked at Rowland Hill Nursery School and Children's Centre since 1996 where she started as a nursery nurse. Since then Toni has had the opportunity to undertake a number of different professional roles, she is currently working as the Children's Centre Manager and is involved with training for the Haringey Nursery Schools Training Consortium. Toni has a particular interest in the theory which supports 'listening to children' and focused on this when completing her degree in Early Childhood Studies.
